Justine & Ryan’s Lodge at Schroon Lake wedding was the perfect way to wrap up my summer weddings this year! Not only did their two adorable pups attend but they both got to watch their parents tie the knot amongst the pines of the Adirondacks surrounded by all their amazing friends and family members.
Schroon Lake is the perfect backdrop for any wedding or elopement, no matter what time of year and the Lodge provides the most cozy, inviting, and luxury cabins which made for such an easy-going getting ready experience. Anytime that I get to work in the Adirondacks, I try to spend an extra day or two exploring the area and getting a feel of the downtown coffee shop (yes, there’s only one but it’s AMAZING) as well as a swim or two in the lake if the weather allows. Lets just say I’ll definitely be planning a trip back to Schroon Lake for my own enjoyment very soon. Hiking in nature followed by a dip in the lake or indoor pool? Sign me up.
I love how much intention there was behind so many of the details of Justine & Ryan’s wedding day. From the large printed photos from their engagement session that welcomed their guests into the reception space & the customized drink koozies to tearing up the dance floor… no notes! They even had an ice cream cart attached to a bike that the bride jumped onto to hand deliver popsicles to her guests at the end of the night.
What a DREAM day. Thank you Justine & Ryan for trusting me to document your wedding weekend up in the Adirondacks!!! Wishing you two a lifetime of happiness, puppy cuddles, and ice cream sandwiches. Congratulations, newlyweds!!
